Abbie and Betty

Abbie Cornish, born 7 August 1982, in Australia and is an actor. Cornish is most well-known for her roles in films as Heidi in the film Somersault (2004). She also played Somersault (2004) Fanny Brawne in Bright Star (2009) Sweet Pea in Sucker Punch (2011) Lindy in Limitless (2011) Clara Murphy in RoboCop (2014) as Sarah in Geostorm (2017) and for her work with filmmaker Martin McDonagh in Seven Psychopaths (2012) and three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017). Cornish was awarded the first Screen Actors Guild Award in the ensemble cast for this film. Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. Jack Gilpin, who starred in Adventureland and The Mothman Prophecies among other films, was her dad. Ann McDonough played the mother. Betty Gilpin made a decision to go into acting because she received the encouragement and affection of her parents. Fordham College is where Betty Gilpin learned to be an actor. Gilpin auditioned and began performing off-Broadway plays following her graduation. Gilpin was able to land a regular role on the NBC show Law & Order: Criminal Intent between 2001 and 2011. This was followed by tiny roles as a ghost in Ghost Town and The Northern Kingdom. Gilpin gained a lot of TV knowledge in the next seasons, mostly through the roles of guest stars. She finally got her big break with Nurse Jackie's recurring role in 2013. Gilpin was the lead character on Nurse Jackie as Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin on 34 episodes before Nurse Jackie was removed in June of 2015. Gilpin was also a part of the crime thriller True Story (2015).
