Aspen Ladd began her journey in combat sports at the age of 14. She was a kickboxer, boxer and wrestling prior to making her debut appearance as an amateur at WCFC in front of Jaimee Nievera. Ladd had an amazing 3 fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In each of the three bouts she beat her opponent in the very first round. Then, she went to WCFC to win again, beating Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen has already beaten Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen and swept her away in unanimity to create a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd rebounded from her defeat, and won Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to increase her record to 8-1. Aspen was signed to Invicta FC in 2015 to start her journey as a professional. Invicta Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011 and won via first-round TKO. Invicta 16, she was able to move from Bantamweight to the fight against Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen made use of her wrestling prowess to defeat McGill in third round TKO.
